About Us

Ibu Anie Djojohadikusumo’s vision of spreading the WADAH message through her global family, resulted in the creation of and the activities of WADAH FOUNDATION TRUST in India. It was formally established in 2016 in New Delhi.

So far the work of WADAH FOUNDATION TRUST has been supporting the work of established NGOs:

  • Saksham (limiting limitations)

    • an organisation which believes in empowering persons with blindness and other forms of visual impairment with a range of services needed to make them a part of social and economic mainstream.
  • Udayan Care (empathy, education, empowerment)

WADAH is supporting Udayan, India, financially, to implement their already existing programs and new initiatives. The most important again is education and livelihood provision.
  • Maiti India

They initiate rescue programs and provide legal aid services to liberate children and women from exploitative situations. In 2015 after the devastating earthquake in Nepal, WADAH sent a truck load of medicines, tents, yoga mats, blankets, clothes and other relief material to Maiti for quake affected people in Nepal.
