Wadah Sends Five (5) Grandmamas to an ITEC Program in India

Through the India Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) with the support coming from the Indian Embassy in Indonesia sponsored five (5) grandmamas from Wadah Foundation communities in Eastern Indonesia to take part in the Training of Illiterate/Semi-Literate Rural Women on Solar Electrification and Rain Water Harvesting in Tilonia, Rajasthan, India.

PKM Wadah Mutiara Abadi Builds Character through Pencak Silat

Indonesia is a multi-ethnic country and rich in arts and culture. One of the more famous ones is Pencak Silat, which is a form of self-defense handed down through generation which is reflective of cultural behavior of Indonesia which has been handed down from generation to generation. Pencak Silat is very popular like any other art of self-defense. It has also been included as a competitive sport in the international sporting events like the SEA Games and Asian Games.

Wadah Foundation joins Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) at MIT

The Wadah Foundation has joined the Abdul Latif Jameel World Education Lab (J-WEL) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The Lab, launched in May of last year, promotes excellence and transformation in global education across the lifespan of the learner, through collaboratives at the pK-12, higher education, and workplace learning levels. The Wadah Foundation, which has joined the pK-12 Collaborative, is among a diverse group of initial members, including leading universities, major NGOs, and top companies.

WADAH Convenes The Third Global Gathering | Jakarta, 22-23 March 2018

Wadah Foundation led by ibu Anie Hashim Djojohadikusumo has successfully held Wadah Global Gathering or WGG  on 22-23 March 2018. Wadah Foundation, which was officially founded on 25 January 2008, celebrated its 9th Anniversary on 24 January 2017 at Le Meridien Hotel Jakarta.

The anniversary celebration was attended by the Wadah “warriors” or volunteers from a number of Wadah communities in different parts of Indonesia.

Indonesian Banks Association Provides Free Medical Treatment for Wadah Communities in Yogyakarta

The Yogyakarta Branch of the Indonesian Banks Association (Perbanas), which consists of 24 Banks, organized a one-day medical outreach activity to Wadah communities in  Yogyakarta last October 11, 2016. The medical outreach program is a part of the Yogyakarta’s Perbanas corporate social responsibility program (CSR) was implemented in collaboration  with the Wadah Yogyakarta Secretariat.
